Ethnic Studies Minor

Collaborative Program

• While you are strongly encouraged to fulfill your minor course requirements through our own Ethnic Studies diverse offerings, you can also take up to eight credits in Ethnic Studies through the UW-Madison/Edgewood College collaborative program.

• The collaborative program is a reciprocal relationship between Edgewood College and the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and it allows students to take courses not offered at their home university. Edgewood students can take advantage of the diverse selection of coursework at the UW and apply the credits toward an Ethnic Studies minor (please note: 12 credits minimum to be completed at Edgewood).

• The University of Wisconsin-Madison’s timetable for Spring 2009 will be available on Friday, October 24, 2008. Here are the instructions for searching Ethnic Studies courses:

1. Go to: http://registrar.wisc.edu/timetable/fall

2.Click on “Search Timetable”

3.Go to the middle of the page and:

Check :(√) ETHNIC STUDIES: Yes -only courses that satisfy the Ethnic Studies Requirement

4.Click “Submit” at the bottom of the page
